Preparation and painting of Relay and Collection Boxes with or without Motorist Mail Chute for U. S. Mail. The contractor is responsible for picking up the boxes from four locations -- Lancaster, PA; York, PA; Devon, PA; Reading PA. Contractor is required to pick up a minimum of 10 units and refinish and return them within a seven (7) calendar day period. The contractor will be furnished wdith Postal Service decals that must be applied to the refinished collection boxes. Some of the boxes may have lead based paint. Contractor must possess appropriate licenses and permits for processing and disposing of materials generated as a result of the refinishing operations. It is estimated that over the two (2) year term of the contract approximately 2,000 relay/collection boxes will be painted and approximately 1,000 motorist mail chutes. Contract will be firm fixed price. One award will be made for all items. Solicitation packages are limited and will be sent on a first come first served basis. (0119)
