R -- TRACT APPRAISAL SERVICES SOL DACW29-98-R-0022 DUE 061598 POC Ione Cataldo, Contract Specialist, (504)862-2882, FAX: (504)862-2889 The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a contractor to prepare and deliver tract appraisal reports on various parcels of land located within the Atchafalaya Basin Floodway area in Iberville, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Iberia Parishes, LA. The Corps intends to award three(3) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity task order contracts as a result of this solicitation. Each contract will have a minimum of approximately 50 parcels and a maximum of approximately 500 parcels. Each award will be based on the best value to the Government considering price and other factors. The term of each contract will be one(1) year with options for four(4) additional years. Each successful contractor will prepare, furnish, and deliver tract appraisal reports of various parcels of land within the Atchafalaya Basin Floodway System Project area. Successful contractors will be given approximately 60-90 days to complete appraisal reports on about 100 parcels. A minimally qualified contractor must have experience in the valuation of bottomland hardwoods or bald cypress/tupelo gum swamp land; must have Federal or State court experience as an expert witness; and must be approved by the U.S. Attorney.
