The Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Omaha Branch, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, 10 USC 2304(c)(1) only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency requirement. This determination has been made because the Fed proposes to provide the following services at no cost to the BEP: (1) on-site storage space for a maximum of nine million pieces ofmaterial, (2) sort, pack and process request for materials, and (3) mail all requestedmaterials. The BEP will only reimburse the Fed for actual costs of mailing the materials. Items to be stored and mailed include the following: (1) posters, large and small, (2) brouchures, (3) press kits, and (4) point of sales flyers. This is only a notice of intent, not a notice for firms to request. No RFQ will be issued. See Note 22. (0119)
