NOTICE OF PRESOLICITATION CONFERENCE The purpose of this message is to invite interested contractors to the Small Smart Bomb Range Extension (SSBREX) demonstration program Presolicitation Conference. The conference is scheduled to start at 9:00am Central Time on May 19, 1998 at the following address: Air Force Research Laboratory Building 13, 101 W Eglin Blvd. Eglin AFB, FL 32542-6810. Please come through the cross-walk upper entrance of the building to sign in at the security office and obtain a visitor's badge. From there, proceed to room 380 where the main conference will be held. The tentative agenda calls for a 9:00-11:30am main conference to include program and contracting office presentations plus a question and answer period. Following a lunch break, one-on-one sessions (one hour each) will commence with prime contractors only, although prime contractors who have formed a teaming relationship with a subcontractor may bring their team to the one-on-one session. A sign up sheet schedule, for the one-on-one sessions, will be made available at the beginning of the main conference. Contractors with tight travel plans will be given priority for the one-on-one sessions. Copies of the Miniaturized Munitions Technology final report (previous effort) will be made available to interested contractors at the conference. Arrangements may be made to send a copy of this final report to contractors unable to attend the conference. Additionally, an electronic copy of the draft PRDA is available upon request. Feel free to provide written comments, regarding the draft PRDA, to Captain Kenne before the conference. If contractors wish, they may share their comments on the draft during either the main conference or the one-on-one sessions. Please RSVP to Captain Keith Kenne by COB Friday, 8 May 98.
