The project includes the addition to Building 316 and is comprised of approximately 1,107 square meters of new construction. The facility will be constructed with painted exposed aggregate precast concrete panels for the exterior, a steel frame, steel studs, bar joists, and steel decking. The addition will provide space for the German Air Force's simulator and supporting equipment to be provided by others. The design includes briefing rooms, part task trainers, simulator and instructor office space, maintenance workshop and offices, breakroom, lobby/entry, and mens/womens toilet facilities. Also, the project will include supporting utilities, graveled landscape areas, site walls, storm drain inlets and asphalt parking facilities. This is a firm-fixed price contract.
