NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for Repair of Storm Drainage Endwalls -- Phase I at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: Construction of endwalls numbered 1A1 and 17A1B, endwalls numbered 11A2 and 11A3, and endwalls numbered 13A1 and 13A2; dewatering, demolition, excavation and regrading drainage swales and ditches; installing new rip-rap and stabilization aggregate; seeding, mulching, and sodding. All pavement and physical improvements disturbed during construction are to be restored. All unpaved areas disturbed during construction are to be fertilized and seeded, or sodded. The work shall be complete. It includes furnishing, as applicable, or may be required, all contractor's plant, equipment, safety devices, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and services, and performing all operations necessary for or incidental to a complete project in conformity with the drawings and as set forth in the various sections of specifications. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 120 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1629 and $17,000,000.00, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 5/18/98 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 6/17/98. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $75.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Sandra S.
