Sealed bids for award of a firm fixed price construction contract to construct ambulatory surgery, at the VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY. Work includes but is not limited to: all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary for Ambulatory Surgery and other spaces, four new operating rooms, support spaces, modifications to existing locker rooms, offices and utility rooms. Work includes sitework, utilities, demolition, architectural, structural, asbestos removal, elevator modifications, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, emergency generator, equipment installation and all other work as required by the drawings and specifications. Cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Requests for bid packages must be in writing and accompanied by a non-refundable $100.00 per set. Make check or money order payable to: "VA Medical Center #603". Bid packages will be available on or about May 18, 1998, with a bid opening date of 6/17/98 at 11:00am, local time.
