The U.S. Army Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) anticipates extending the period of performance for the Engineering and Non-Personal Support Services Contract, N61339-92-D-0018 for an additional six (6) months with one (1) option for three (3) months and a second option for three (3) months. This will be done on a sole source basis to Sherikon, Inc. 14500 Avion Parkway, Suite 200, Chantilly, VA. 22021. The contract was awarded in June 1992 with 4 option periods. The last option will expire on 22 June 1998. The contract currently supports all the Program Managers and Directorates within STRICOM. No follow-on contract will be in place prior to the current contract expiration date. By extending the contract, this will allow us time to award a new contract. The value of the extension will be six, ($6) million: $3 million for six months, $1.5 million for option 1 and $1.5 million for option 2. One follow-on contract will be awarded upon completion of the extended contract.
