J -- DRYDOCK REPAIRS TO USCGC HAMMER (WLIC-75302) SOL DTCG80-98-B-3FC846 DUE 061998 POC Contact Mr. Jerry Hendricks, Contract Specialist 757-628-4647 Provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform Drydock repairs including, but not limited to the following Minimum Items: 1) 65'WYTL Watertight Hatch Replacement. 2) Renew Doors at Crew's Head and Drystores. 3) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propeller Shaft. 4) Re-locate Grid Collers for Both Ship Service Diesel Generators. 5) Provide Temporary Berthing. 6) Provide Temporary Logistics. 7) Routine Drydocking. Indefinite Items Include, but not limited to the following: 1) Welding Repairs 2) Renew Shaft Sleeves. 3) Preserve Underwater Body. 4) Renew Rudder Bearings. 5) Additional Temporary Berthing. Vessel availability schedule is 17 August 98 for 35 days. Vessel's homeport is Bayonne, New Jersey. The vessel is geographically restricted and work is to be performed between the boundaries of NY Harbor, Troy, NY on the Hudson River to the North, and "The Race" in Long Island Sound to the East. For safety reasons, no open water transit possible due to physical condition of vessel. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after May 18, 1998.
