Logsdon (210) 295-4538 (Site Code DADA10) The Health Care Acquisition Activity Contracting Center, U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) anticipates making multiple contract awards to provide medical services on a Nationwide basis for the U.S. Army and DoD activities located throughout the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico). The government is seeking contractors to provide health care professionals in the following disciplines: Physician Assistants; and Registered Nurses (Nurse Midwife, Nurse Practitioner, OB/GYN Nurse, and Family Nurse Practitioner). Future requirements may include: Licensed Practical Nurses; Nursing Assistants; and Phlebotomists. Initial service locations include: Texas, Alabama, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. Multiple award task order contracts are anticipated, whereby, specific requirements will be identified via delivery orders against the basic contract. The anticipated base period of performance is 1 Oct 98 through 30 Sep 99 with four 1-year options. The tentative solicitation issue date is 3 Jun 98 with the closing date approximately 30 days later.
