The United States Army Field Artillery and Fort Sill, is privatizing the Natural Gas Distribution System at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Privatization is defined as the transfer of ownership and responsibility for operation, maintenance, repair, upgrade and plant replacement to the non-federal sector. As a result of this solicitation, a company will be selected to assume ownership of the Natural Gas Distribution System at Fort Sill, OK. This solicitation and any resultant contract will not include the supply of natural gas. The actual transfer will be accomplished after the award of this contract and may be subject to Congressional notification and approval. Upon transfer, the system will be under the authority of the Oklahoma Public Safety or Corporation Commission for operational safety issues. Only offers from companies that are regulated public utilities will be considered. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this requirement is 4924 with a size standard of 500 employees.
