This notice is to clarify the solicitation number & description for the Ammunition Container Complex at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane. The correct solicitation number and job description are as follows: N62467-96-R-0733-This solicitation is a RFP using the source selection method. Contractors will submit separate price and technical proposals. Technical proposals will be evaluated on the factors listed in the solicitation. The scope of work includes the construction of a container loading facility and a maintenance building. The container loading facility will be a permanent covered open dock transfer facility of approximately 868 square meters with a break room/work room building (approximately 671 square meters) attached to the north end, and a cribbing/staging room, (approximately 339 square meters) attached to the south end. The dock structure and the attached buildings will have an elevated concrete floor slab. The maintenance building will be a permanent one story building of approximately 483 square meters.
