Daigle Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for Cumberland Gap National Historical Park Project NPS-CUGA 25E26, in Bell County, Kentucky; Claiborne County, Tennessee; and Lee County, Virginia. The project consists of the hot asphalt concrete pavement overlay of U.S. Routes 25E and 58, and miscellaneous side roads; installation of a 162-inch structural plate pipe inside Little Tunnel; and installing rock fall netting. The project work also includes asphalt pavement milling, lightweight structural concrete placement for backfill, drainage improvements, utility conduit installation, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Hot asphalt concrete pavement, 18,100 TON; Asphalt pavement milling, 2-inch depth, 20,700 SQYD; Structural concrete, Class A(AE) (Lightweight for backfill), 1,400 CUYD; 162-inch structural plate pipe, aluminum, 770 LNFT; 4-inch encasement pipe, PVC, 3,250 LNFT.
