PETERSBURG, FL SOL DTCG82-98-Q-3WC110 DUE 061598 POC Pat Dixon (305) 278-6725 This project includes the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment and materials to replace the existing 75KW engine-generator with a new 100KW engine- generator, a 250-gallon fuel tank with a Government furnished 500-gallon fuel tank, a 100-amp automatic transfer switch (ATS) with a new 150-amp ATS, existing battery charger, batteries, radiator hood, exhaust piping and muffler to match new engine-generator, etc. Provide new underground emergency feeder from the emergency panel in the main switching vault to the galley electrical vault. Provide new step down, dry-type transformer and enclosed breakers in the electrical vault and replace individually enclosed breakers and panel with new panel in the refer area. Demolition work is included in this project. Location of work is USCG Station, St. Petersburg, Florida. Estimated range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Payment bonds are required. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier.The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
