commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: Proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Quotations are due
by 1600 hours (4:00 PM, Local Time) on Thursday, 07MAY98. This
procurement is 100% small business set-aside. Statement of Work
"Services NonPersonal to furnish all plant, personnel, labor,
materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform all
operations in connection with the complete take down, storage and
re-installation of Government furnished air structure located at
Building 1550, Base Pool, Hanscom AFB, MA to included all wires, tie
downs entryways, anchors, angle iron, cable, etc. Work to be performed
shall meet all Local, State and Federal Codes. The Contractor shall
have a supervisor on siteat all times. Normal working hours are Monday
through Friday, 0730 to 1630 excluding holidays. Any work to be
completed outside of the normal work hours shall be coordinated through
the Contracting Officer 72 hours in advance. Take down of the air
structure shall occur within 14 days of award, and re-installation
shall occur prior to 01OCT98. Exact dates shall be coordinated with J.
Simmons at (781) 377-2455 or -2854. Contractor shall be responsible to
verify all measurements in the field. The Contractor shall be
responsible for daily clean up of the work site, or more often, as
necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment. The
Contractor shall be responsible for the entire take down of the air
structure and all of its related parts and equipment. The Contractor
shall be responsible for all material needed for a safe take down of
the structure to include all plastic polyethylene. Parts and equipment
include but are not limited to the Air Structure, Field Stream, Anchor
Bolts, Angle Iron, Main Entry, Revolving Door and Platform, 2ea
Emergency Exit Doors, Cables, Lights, Frame around Heat System and all
other related parts. The Contractor shall insure the air structure is
dry then fold the structure and place on pallets provided by the
Government. The Contractor shall accomplish this in accordance with the
manufactures recommended procedures. The Contractor shall transport and
store the air structure with all of its related parts and equipment in
dry secure area. The Contractor shall insure that all of the necessary
parts are together and ready to make reinstallation of the air
structure. The Contractor shall pre-erect all metal doors and hardware
and repair or replace damaged parts. Insure that the revolving door is
in good operating condition, make all necessary repairs to insure
proper operation. Lay out the air structure in a dry area and inspect
for damage that may inhibit the installation. Properly clean the inner
and outer layers before inflation. Make all necessary repairs to air
structure inand outer layers as necessary to insure proper inflation.
Make all repairs per the manufactures recommended procedures. Run the
guide wires across the pool to carry the bubble. Insure that the
interior pool lining is protected from the damage by laying plywood or
other material in the pool, around the concrete perimeter deck of the
pool and taking care that Contractor's employees wear proper soft-sole
shoes. The Contractor shall be responsible for any and all damages to
the air structure and shall make all necessary repairs at no cost to
the Government. Insure that the air structure is secure in all respects
to the tie down bolts and that support wires are properly placed before
starting to inflate the air structure. The Contractor shall insure that
the air structure is installed according to the manufactures
recommended procedures." End Statement of Work. The following clauses

following format: one lump sum price to accomplish all work listed in
