The requirement is for an upgrade to the current security card access control system. This upgrade is compatible with the current system and will include a closed circuit television. This system will require the following additions: Management software, Video Package for Badging, Digital Video Capture Card, Color Badging Printer, Color Print Ribbon, Upgrade Readers to Proximity, Proximity Cards, Proximity Card Reader with built-in keypad, Control Processor, Proximity Card Reader, Locking Hardware, Egress Panic Release Bar, Recessed Door Contact, 1/3" B/W CCD Cameras w/4mm Wide Angle Lenses, Camera Mounts and Housings, Camera Power Supplies, 24 Hour Time Lapse Recorder, Digital Video Quad Unit, 16" B/W Monitor, Plenum Cabling and Hardware, and Programming/Training/Test. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this award is solely within the discretion of the Government. No award will be made on the basis of quotes received in response to this synopsis. If quotes are solicited no additional synopsis will be published.
