The overall purpose of this workshop was to examine the impacts of climate variability and potential vulnerability to future climate change on various economic sections in the southeastern states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. There were 117 participants in attendance out of 436 organizations and individuals indicating an interest. Scientists and regional stakeholders evaluated agriculture, coastal and fisheries, extreme events, parks and public lands, science education, urban areas and human health, and water resources.
