SOL N62766-93-R-0251 DUE 062498 POC Contact Ms Doris Castro, Contract Specialist (671) 339-8465 or FAX 339-4248 This is a source selection procurement for Project Q-395 SOF Naval Special Warfare Operational Support Facility, and Project P-415 NSWU-1 Renovation of Building 3000, Naval Activities, Guam, M.I. The work for Project Q-395 includes construction of two buildings of structural steel framing, concrete panel walls, concrete topping on metal deck roofs and concrete slab on grade floors on pile foundations. Building features include parachute drying tower, oxygen safe facilities, radio fire alarm, fire protection system, air conditioning system, low pressure compressed air systems, and monorails. Support facilities include utilities, parking and service area, site preparation, asphalt concrete pavement, concrete slabs, water distribution system, sewer system, drainage system, chain link fencing, and incidental related work. The project includes the construction of an additional RHIB storage bay (approximately 2400 SF) to the Maintenance Facility and incidental related work. The work for Project P-415 includes the interior and exterior renovation of existing Building 3000, a reinforced concrete warehouse, to office and storage use and incidental related work. The renovation includes structural steel interior framing, reinforced concrete work, metal storage enclosures, air conditioning, lighting, plumbing, medical gas systems, compressed air, SCIF compartments, intrusion detection system, duress alarm system, and public address system. The project includes construction of perimeter fence security lighting which includes underground electrical distribution, concrete light standards, light fixtures, and incidental related work. The bid schedule is Base and three Options. The performance period for the Base Bid is 540 calendar days from the date of award. All exercise of options will be up to 9 months from contract award. The estimated price range is more than $10,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 18 May 1998 for a $250.00 non-refundable charge for each set. Payment in the form of a certified cashier's check or United States money order made to "United States Treasury" must accompany each request. Personal checks and cash will not be accepted. Requests for this solicitation must be submitted in writing. Telephone and fax requests will not be accepted. The due date for receipt of proposals is 24 June 1998 at 4:30 P.M. (Guam Time).
