NASA/SSC intends to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for an Addition to Building 1200 Visitor's Center at the Stennis Space Center utilizing non-appropriated funds. The work to be performed under this project consists of providing all labor, equipment and materials needed to construct an approximately 7,000 square foot addition to the building. The building addition will be a precast concrete structure. The interior will have a small equipment room in the Southwest corner and the rest of the area will be open. Electrical, lighting earthwork and landscaping will be completed in accordance with the Specification and Drawings. All work shall be completed within 120 days after receipt of the notice to proceed. The solicitation will be be released via the NASA Acquisition Internet Services (NAIS). Hard copies of the Solicitation, Specification and Drawings will be provided to those firms requesting a copy. It shall be the responsibility of each offeror to monitor NAIS for solicitation releases as the solicitation will be released as soon as practicable whether prior or subsequent to May 15, 1998. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The SIC Code is 1542 with a Size Standard of $17M. The Government's estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000.
