Construction is for repair, replacement, and installing new built-up, standing seam, preformed metal, and shingle roofing according to specifications and drawings at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Contractors with five (5) years specialized roofing experience are sought for this project. Certification of experience shall be submitted with offer. The contract requires a twenty- (20) year manufacturer's warranty on material and workmanship. Contractors shall submit, with their bids, proof that their company is currently certified to install roofing with a manufacturer's twenty- (20) year warranty. Performance period will be one (1) full calendar year plus four (4) option years. This will be a Requirements Type Contract. Contractors should be made aware that contract work will be on an on-call basis. Solicitation Number: F29651-98-B0003 will be issued on or about 27 May 1998 with bid opening on or about 13 July 1998. Magnitude of this project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000 annually. Thissolicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns. Also, firms should state if they are interested as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
