Z -- STORM BARRIER RECONSTRUCTION (SAND FILL) AT PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, FLORIDA SOL N62467-97-B-2517 DUE 060998 POC Contracts Department, (904) 542-5571, Ext. 112 The work consists of furnishing all labor, amterial and equipment in connection with the excavation, transport, placement, tilling and escarpment removal of beach-compatible sand fill. The sand borrow source shall be an existing spoil area at Patrick Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral, Florida. Work also includes planting and establishing and watering upland dune vegetation, and sand fencing. Work shall be executed in accordance to the environmental permits associated to this project to prevent environmental damage and pollution as results of construction operations under this project. THE BEACH FILL SITE WILL BE ACCESSIBLE FOR THE WORK ONLY BETWEEN NOVEMBER 1, 1998 AND MAY 1, 1999.
