The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is searching for a commercially available, non-developmental, water filtration system. The system will be used to remove debris and environmentally harmful contaminants from waste water produced in the decontamination of personnel, equipment, and vehicles. The requirements of the system are as follows: 1) Must be capable of reducing all known military and industrial chemical, biological, and nuclear agents to environmentally acceptable levels in accordance with EPA standards. 2) Must be capable of filtering common debris, such as gravel, wood splinters, leaves, paper, glass, fabric, etc. from heavily polluted waste water. 3) Must be capable of filtering 35 gpm/133 lpm of heavily polluted waste water. 4) Must be portable by two persons and weigh no more than approximately 200 lb/91 kg. Modular systems will be considered. 5) Must be operable without the use of an external power source. In the absence of a diesel powered pump, the system must be operable in conjunction with the Marine Corps' B1620 pump with a flow rate of 65 gpm @ 21.7 psi / 247 lpm @ 150 kPa. 6) Must be capable of nuclear, biological, chemical (NBC) decontamination without sustaining damage. 7) Must not exceed dimensions 90" l x 36" w x 40" h / 229 cm l x 91 cm w x 102 cm h per module.
