The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is searching for a commercially available, non-developmental fiber optic scope system. The fiber optic scope system will be used for remote internal inspection of packages, rooms, and various enclosures. The fiber optic scope should: 1) be of small diameter and highly flexible to maneuver in tight places, 2) deliver sharp, detailed color images to a video monitor, 3) have an articulating probe end, 4) allow 360 degree observation through articulation and/or prismatic lenses, 5) provide illumination at the probe end, 6) have a working length of approximately 10 ft / 3 m.
