Transcribing Services, harry.e.lundy@dos.us-state.gov. The U.S.
Department of State, Bureau of Public Affairs, Office of Spokesman and
Office of Press Relations has a requirement for transcribing services
involving a contractor providing labor, equipment and materials
necessary to transcribe speeches, remarks, briefings, meetings, news
conferences, toasts and responses to dignitaries, news reports or
portions of broadcast programs, any and all other related services. The
transcribing services will be required in a variety of settings and
locations; anywhere in the country, outdoors, indoors, United Nations,
Military Installations, press offices, etc. Travel is required and may
include overseas travel. A pool of transcribers shall be maintained as
a necessary resource which may be increased or decreased by the
Government. Availability to provide the transcribing services shall be
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contract type contemplated is an
Indefinite Quantity. The contract period is slated for a base year with
the option to extend the contract 4 times, each for one year, and an
option to extend the contract again up to six months. This procurement
is a 100% Set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The Government plans
