SPECIAL NOTICE: NASA ACQUISITIONS AVAILABLE OVER THE INTERNET The NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) "pushes" business opportunities out to industry. Vendors interested in getting immediate notice of NASA business opportunities can now register to receive procurement announcements by email. The announcements include advance procurement notices, solicitation releases, post-award notices, and other general procurement notices. To take advantage of this free service go to http://procurement.nasa.gov/maillist.html and complete the online form. Anytime after registering you may unsubscribe or change the desired categories of announcements at the same location. The NAIS provides a host of other services. NASA posts all competitive acquisitions over $25,000 on the Internet. Included are the advance and post-award procurement announcements, plus the actual solicitation files, available immediately upon release. An index of the acquisitions can be sorted by date posted, NASA center, and product/service classification code. A search capability enables prospective offerors to quickly identify relevant acquisitions. The NAIS also provides online access to acquisition forecasts, active contract data, small business assistance, the NASA FAR Supplement, and links to other federal procurement sites on the Internet.
