Krutz, Contracting Officer, (601) 686-5361 The U.S. Department of Agriculture requires the necessary labor, materials, parts, equipment and supervision necessary to remove and replace a domestichot water heat exchanger at the USDA, ARS, Southern Regional Research Center,New Orleans, Louisiana. The work includes but is not limited to; removeasbestos-containing material from the piping and equipment that will be removed;remove existing water heating system and provide new instantaneous water heatingsystem as called for in the specifications. The work will be completed 90 days.An IFB will be issued on or about May 18, 1998. An estimated cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
