The following is a brief statement of work by building for the work located at the USDA facilities lactated at 14th & Independence Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20250: Auditor's Building Add drinking water filtration/sterilization/chemical treatment system including related distribution piping; provide new dedicated drinking water risers; perform related Electrical and General Conditions. Cotton Annex Building -- Add drinking water filtration sterilization/chemical treatment system including related distribution piping; perform related Electrical and General Conditions. South Building -- Connect miscellaneous water coolers and drinking water fountains to the existing central chilled water piping system; perform related General Conditions work. Jamie L. Whitten Building -- Remove existing domestic booster pumps; provide new packagetriplex domestic booster system and related controls and components; provide drinking water filtration/sterilization/chemical treatment system, including related distribution piping and related piping modifications; replace existing city water main in the sub-basement with new water main, including new branch water shut-off and control valves. The time of construction shall be 9 months from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The prebid conference date will be identified in the solicitation.
