The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for interior remodeling at the BEP Western Currency Facility, Fort Worth, Texas. The work shall include, but is not limited to, interior remodeling of Room S153 to house locker and toilet rooms for male and female personnel and a break room; modification of the existing air conditioning and fire protection system to serve remodeled areas; installation of new toilets and locker rooms ventilation system; remodeling of Rooms S141 and S131to house a break room, a work area and locker rooms; modification of existing air conditioning and fire protection systems to accommodate new floor plans; installation of new locker rooms ventilation system. Addition of a Testing room; modification of existing air conditioning and fire protection systems to serve new testing room. Modification of existing plumbing system to accommodate new showers and sinks installation. Estimated cost range: $100,000 -- $250,000. The Bid Opening Date is July 7, 1998.
