The proposed work includes providing all plant, labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to upgrade fill stands and maintain/repair jet fuel storage, and upgrade POL unloading stands at The Vermont Air National Guard Base, Burlington International Airport, South Burlington, Vermont. Work consists of cutting and demolishing existing asphalt paved areas, preparation and installation of new sub-base, new asphalt and concrete areas. Construction of four (4) reinforced concrete stands, including drainage piping to existing oil/water separator. Installation of fuel piping from the new stands to the existing pumphouse, to include installation of two (2) 600 GPM fill pumps and 300 GPM unloading pumps. The existing pumphouse will be refurbished to include new EPDM roof and EIFS. The dike areas at the above ground storage tanks will be regraded and a membrane liner installed. The interior of one (1) of the above ground storage tanks shall have an epoxy coating applied. All site lighting, control and monitoring wiring and ground points are included in the electrical work. Site work includes security fencing, concrete walks and landscaping. Electrical Gate Operators with transmitter controllers and additional paving at the new unloading stands are additive bid items. The Standard Industrial Codes (SIC) is 1542. The related small business size is $17M. The magnitude of construction is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Completion date is 75 calendar days from acknowledgment of the notice to proceed. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 26 May, 1998.
