Marine Fenders (Sea Cushions) 3 Each, 11 X 16 Foot each; Fenders shall meet or exceed the following physical characteristics and properties; Fenders shall be foam filled (closed cell foam) type with a filament (nylon tire cord) reinforced elastomer skin. The filament reinforcing shall be helically wound in multiple layers throughout the skin of the fender. The fender shall be equipped with a tire and chain net which incorporates the end fittings necessary for securing and lifting the fender and provides additional standoff and protection for the skin. Body dimensions -- 11 ft diameter by 16 ft long (less tire and chain net). Overall dimensions -- 12.75 ft. diameter by 18.16 ft long (with net and end fittings) Skin thickness -- no less than 0.8 inch. Energy absorption rating at 60% compression -- at least 800 ft. kips. Reaction force -- maximum of 325 kips. Footprint area at 60% compression -- 145 square feet. Net buoyancy -- 85,000 lbs. Draft -- 1.6 feet. Chains -- at least 9 longitudinal and 4 lateral chains with tires at each intersection and covered with hose (chafe guard) on rounded end segments shall make up the net. Chain size shall be no less than inch. Non-pneumatic type. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. To be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. RYG Program applicable.
