The Government knows of no other sources for the manufacture of these items. The Wave Guide Assemblies were manufactured as a part of the National Weather Service Nexrad Radar System by Lockheed Martin (formerly Unisys). The Government does have specifications and drawings. The Government will accept offers from any qualified source capable of manufacturing or providing the items. All interested parties must respond within 15 calendar days of this announcement. The spares will be delivered to the National Weather Service, Kansas City, on an FOB Destination basis. Any business source, able to manufacture Wave Guide Assemblies referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement. Interested firms should submit in writing, there name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding their capability to provide the specified equipment, and the name, telephone number, and point of contact for a businesses or other Government agency to which it has previously provided the item. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. This acquisition is being conducted pursuant to the guidelines set forth in FAR part 13.
