FLIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM SOL N68335-98-Q-0222 DUE 052098 POC Carl Ruzicka, Code 2131, (732)323-2741 Notice for technical manuals for E-2C aircraft posted 4/30/98 is corrected to read as follows: The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure on a non-competitive basis with Northrop Grumman Corp., technical manuals for the operation and maintenance of E-2C Standard Air Flight Control System operational test program sets. It is intended to negotiate an order with Northrop Grumman under the terms and conditions of Basic Ordering Agreement N68335-97-G-0241 to satisfy this requirement. Northrop Grumman is currently developing the operational test program set for the standard air fligt control system. They are the only known firm with the capability of providing the technical manuals describing the operational and maintenance requirements of the operational test set. Consequently, this procurement will be conducted under the provisions of 10 USC 2304(c), FAR section 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-98-Q-0222. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Navy anticipates a firm fixed price contract. (0125)
