COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MAY 7,1998 PSA#2090Bureau of Reclamation, Contracts Group, 1150 N. Curtis Road, Suite 100,
Boise, Idaho 83706-1234 B -- RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLANS SOL 1425-98-SP-10-14340 POC Joseph
Pratt (208) 378-5139 E-MAIL: Click here to contact Mr. Pratt,
jpratt@pn.usbr.gov. Reclamation has a requirement for the preparation
of Resource Management Plans (RMPs) in the Pacific Northwest Region of
the Bureau of Reclamation (Washington, Idaho and portions of Oregon
and Montana). Public use of these Bureau of Reclamation reservoirs has
grown significantly, putting increased demands on the limited lands
and facilities surrounding the reservoirs. It's the intent of
Reclamation to issue a solicitation for an Indefinite
Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for a 1-year period with
three or four 1-year options. The solicitation for this requirement
will include the first two Tasks to be issued under the ID/IQ contract
for RMPs at Ririe Reservoir/Tex Creek Wildlife Management Area and at
Cascade Reservoir (both located in Southern Idaho). Reclamation's goal
is to manage, protect and enhance fish and wildlife habitat, natural,
cultural, and recreational resources, to preserve the aesthetic quality
and natural environment and to promote the safe and healthful use of
the reservoir area lands and water. This contract excludes mandatory
coverage for cultural resource data collection as this service is
already available under another contract. Other ancillary task orders
relating to the RMPs in the Pacific Northwest Region may be ordered
under this contract, if they are deemed necessary by the Government to
complete the RMPs. Reclamation is specifically seeking offerors with
knowledge and familiarity of the areas surrounding the two reservoirs
listed above, as well as knowledge of, and experience in preparing RMPs
for agencies in, the Pacific Northwest area. The contractor will be
required to work with GIS information in the ArcView format -- the
solicitation may be issued electronically via CD-ROM and/or Internet
and will include GIS files. We will accept facsimile requests for this
solicitation at (208) 378-5108, and e-mail requests at
"jpratt@pn.usbr.gov". No telephone requests. All responsible sources
may submit a proposal, which we will consider. This requirement is not
a set-aside. See numbered Note 26. (0124) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0016 19980507\B-0002.SOL)
