The Phase III contract will augment the existing ER FCS with additional FCS equipment. Additional equipment for this phase will be 4 Missle Interface (MIBs), 1 Spare Guidance Interface Box (SGIB), Stowage cabinet Test In Place (SCTIP) (2 Position) Standard Electronic Modules (SEMs), Power Equipment (001, 002, 003 Doors) and associated interconnecting cables. This set of equipment will be delivered as a kit to be sold off by physical inspection on a DD 250 in Pittsfield, Ma. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Ma. General Dynamics is the sole manufacturer of the FBM Fire Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge and in -place capability to perform the required effort. Note 22.
