Library of Congress has a requirement for preservation microfilming
including collating and preparing monographs and serials, bound and
unbound, in English and many foreign languages and in any script,
including Arabic and Asian language scripts. Many volumes or issues may
be brittle or damaged. Work shall be performed off site. Services
required include packing and shipping issues to work site, collating,
preparing collation records and targets, programming reels, filming the
prepared issues for production of 35mm master negative, negative and
positive microfilm delivered in labeled boxes to the Library of
Congress and periodic reports concerning work accomplished.
Solicitation will be issued on or about June 1, 1998. Requests must be
in writing on firm's letterhead, must reference S-LC98052 and may be
