The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded, requiring submission of both a technical and price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's capability in comparison to its price. The work of this contract consists of the general construction of the following work: Demolition of terra cotta and concrete floors and other identified structural elements and associated bracing and shoring; foundation work, new steel columns, placement of concrete floors on metal deck, and other identified structural repairs; installation of new underground utilities, and roof repairs. This project has been prepared in metric. All drawings and specification dimensions are given in SI units unless otherwise noted. Metric dimensions given are in general soft conversions of the equivalent English dimension. All requests for project documents must be made in writing. A non-refundable bid deposit for project documents is $125 per set, 3 set maximum, in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or money order made payable to the National Park Service. Include Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number on check or money order. Project Documents may also be viewed at various plan rooms.
