Mugu, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis, from AlliedSignal, Inc., Guidance and Control Systems, Mishawaka, IN MQM-8G (EER) VANDAL conversion hardware units, quantity of 6, including installation and testing. These items will be procured under a modification to Contract N68936-97-C-0166, which required AlliedSignal, Inc. to provide 24 units in the base period and 24 units in the option period. These units will be added to the option period, thereby providing for 30 units. Delivery will be in the first half of FY 2000. Sole source to AlliedSignal, Inc., Mishawaka, IN as only source possessing requisite data package, unique experience, knowledge and technical capability to support VANDAL target conversions. Any party claiming to have capability to perform these conversions should submit a written request for information to Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, Contracts Competency, 521 9th Street, Point Mugu, CA 93042, Attention: Ms. Safford.
