The US EPA is seeking sources interested in a requirement for technical assistance and support services connected with the implementation of the Public Water Systems Supervision (PWSS) Program. The required support services include such activities as: State primacy oversight; compliance information collection and analysis; mobilization/State capacity; training; enforcement; regulatory development; and direct program implementation. The contract will require superior levels of technical expertise in fields of Sciences, Systems Analysis, and Engineering. The proposed action will be conducted on a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Level of Effort contract and will have a base period and two (2) twelve month option periods. The base period and each option period will consist of approximately 60,350 direct labor hours. Each contract period will have approximately 120,000 additional direct labor hours of option level of effort. The applicable SIC code is 8742 with a size standard of $5 million. A solicitation is expectedto be released in July. Any interested firm should submit a capability statement which demonstrates the firm's qualifications and ability to provide the required services. Firms shall indicate their size status for the above referenced SIC code. The deadline for submission of the capability statement is June 5, 1998.
