Swanson, Contract Specialist, (931) 454-4409 This procurement is to perform repairs to the concrete wall of the J-4 Spray Chamber Facility (a 250-foot deep by 100-foot diameter water containment vessel) at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. Work includes providing all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to sandblast, clean, and install reinforcing mesh and 3 inches of shotcrete to approximately 16,000 square feet. The work area of this project is classified as a "confined space." All personnel shall be certified as having received confined space entry training under OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.146 before being permitted access to the work area. The period of performance will be 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated order of magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000.
