The work includes the exterior painting of various surfaces as indicated on work orders, complete and ready for use, and incidental related work at the Naval Education and Training Center, Naval Complex, Newport, RI. This is an Indefinite Quantity Contract with a base year and two one year options. The SIC Code is 1721 and the size standard is $7.0 million. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The proposed contract (solicitation) will be issued as unrestricted and is subject to the evaluation criteria set forth in DFAR 252.219-7008 -- Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns, Construction Test Program (APR 1996). There will be a charge for plans and specifications, however, at this time the dollar amount has yet to be established.
