The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted. FAR Part 52.212-1, 52.214-4, FAR 52.212-1(b) is deleted. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation package will not be issued. 98-Q-42 is issued as a request for quotations. All references to "offer" are understood to be "quotations" The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. Award will be made to the offeror who fully meets the requirement. The U.S. Secret Service has a requirement for the following Brand Name Product: (NO FAXED RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED). Ten (10) Scott -- Air PAK Fifty, with 60 minute carbon bottle, Emergency Breathing Support System (EBSS), AV200 Face Piece and Hard Case. The due date for all offers is May 18, 1998, by 3:00. Late offers will not beconsidered. Offers are requested to submit quotes for the above equipment only. Delivery will be FOB Destination. NO other solicitation package is available. The Government will award to the offeror whose quotation conforms to the specification above and is the most advantageous to the Government. The Government anticipates award on or about May 30, 1998.
