Administration is issuing a written request for proposals for the
purpose of procuring a single engine turbine powered helicopter capable
of high ambient temperature and humidity conditions resulting in high
density altitudes. The aircraft is to be capable of use in
air-to-ground surveillance, aerial photography, airborne tracking of
radio transmitters, transportation of technical personnel, materials,
and equipment. This is a commercial acquisition. FAA airworthiness
certificates are required. A minimum availability requirement of 80
percent based is required on a 750 hour use per year. A minimum service
life of 15,000 hours is required and aircraft systems shall be designed
to facilitate field and on-site removal, replacement, adjustment and
repair via normal aviation mechanic and electronic repairman's tool

c.o.b. June 2, 1998. The request for proposal is not available via
electronic media. The Standard Industrial Classification Code
