D -- SOFTWARE AND SYSTEM MAINTENANCE SOL RFP 549-91-98 POC Susan Lam, Contracting Officer (214) 302-6816 The Department of Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS), Dallas, Texas intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Lazarus Software Creations, Inc., 10462 South Weeping Willow, Sandy, Utah, for software and system maintenance for the Lancaster, Texas VA CMOP's Order Control Management System (OCMS). The OCMS is critical to the CMOPs mission. To the best knowledge of the VA, Lazarus Software Creations is the sole authorized provider of OCMS software and maintenance for the federal Government. Any prospective vendor responding to this request shall provide evidence that 1) it is a certified 3rd party provider for OCMS software, and 2) it is able to provide OCMS related services to the Federal Government. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include all required evidence, as stated above, to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of the firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
