The USDA Forest Service, Nothern Region, intends to procure services needed to support the GIS portion of the Aerial Detection Survey (ADS) and Forest health Monitoring (FHM) programs. These services are in the areas of (1) Trace Map Production; (2) Digitizing all point and polygon features in ArcInfo; pest codes input using pestcode.aml and annotation using gragall.aml and moveanno.aml; (3) User Map Design for distribution of ADS data (pest locations and intensity); and (4) Coverage Updates necessary to support the Arc View project files needed for trace maps, user maps and special case and display maps. Coverages include PLSS, roads, streams, ownership (Idaho and Montana), forest boundaries, district boundaries, reporting area boundaries and others. The contract will be for one year with four one-year renewal options. Work shall be performed at the USDA Forest CFFHP map room located in the basement of the Federal Building at 200 East Broadway in Missoula, Montana, space is limited to 2 persons at a time. (0127)
