Y -- ROOF REPLACEMENT SOL R6-14-98-35 DUE 061298 POC Debbie Durfey (541) 278-3843 for a bid packet The Umatilla National Forest is soliciting quotes to construct ventilation in the existing cathedral ceilings at the North Fork John Ranger District's main office. Construction will include removal and replacement with new materials of the composite shingles, and sheathing as well as other components of the roof structure. This project is being undertaken to install cathedral ceiling ventilation. Work will include all construction necessary to install venting baffles between ceiling joists and replace roofing system removed during the installation process. All replacements of roofing components will be with new materials. Replacement of insulation is not required. If replacement of insulation is found to be necessary, costs will be negotiated at that time. The project is located in Ukiah, Oregon on the North Fork John Day Ranger District. Desired work start date is July 1, 1998 with a contract time of 30 days. This is a Request for Quotations. Packets will be sent out on May 22, 1998. (0126)
