Project generally consists of, but is not limited to the following: Installation of furred access wall system (including sound absorbing panels); installation of raised computer room access floor system; installation of electrical power panels, transfer switches, conduit and wiring, installation of electrical grounding systems (multi-point, single-point, signal reference ground and grounding of computer room access flooring); installation of fluorescent lighting, installation of computer room type air handling units; installation of hot water, chilled water and steam piping; installation of fire water sprinkler system; installation of smoke detection and fire alarm system; installation of hollow metal doors, frames and associated hardware; painting of walls, ceiling, doors, frames and other miscellaneous items; insulation of mechanical piping,; installation of metal stud and gypsum board partition walls; demolition of existing electrical power panels, conduit and wiring; demolition of mechanical piping; demolition of metal stud and gypsum board walls; removal of small amounts of asbestos containing floor tile and mastic; removal of carpeting and mastic; demolition of suspended ceiling system. Firms responding will be provided a questionnaire to complete. The information subsequently provided by the firms will be evaluated in determining those firms qualified to compete for the project.
