This project shall be to furnish all labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform bituminous concrete pavement patching, resetting manholes and catch basin, resetting curbing, removal of Portland cement concrete walks and new Portland base, excavating, backfilling, topsoiling, grading and seeding for the Naval Education Training Complex, Newport RI. This project consists of a base period plus two (2) twelve-month option with a minimum of $25,000. The SIC Code is 1611 and the business size standard is $17.0 million. The proposed contract (solicitation) will be issued as unrestriceted and is subject to evaluation criteria set forth in DFAR 252.219-7008 -- Notice of Evaluation Preference of Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns, Construction Acquistions Test Program (APR 1996). There will be a charge for plans and specifications, however at this time the dollar amount has yet to be established. This Pre-Invitation Notice does not serve as your request for plans and specifications.
