The 30th Space Wing, 30th Civil Engineering Squadron, requires the purchase of a Telescopic Boom Lift for Vandenberg AFB. This announcement is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this synopsis/solicitation Request for Quotation (RFQ) is F04684-98-T1127. The solicitation document and the provisions incorporated into it are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The specifications are as follows: Boom Lift, 66 ft telescopic boom construction lift with jib, steel constructed platform, all wheel steering with crab-like steering, hydrostatic transmission, oxy-acetelyne lines, oscillating from axle, foam-filled tires, Ford LRG-423 66 hp engine and bellows covered hydraulic cylinders.
