CHANGE the sentence which reads "Exterior cameras should be mounted in the most optimum location to provide maximum coverage of the playground area." TO READ "Exterior cameras should be mounted in the most optimum location to provide maximum coverage of the playground and courtyard areas." DELETE the sentence which reads "Consider locating them on storage buildings which are in the back of the center and in the courtyard area near the Wing C entrance at front of the building. ADD the following information: The work may be accomplished in two phases- PHASE I: Upgrade existing video surveillance systems in all classrooms and hallways to include the relocation and upgrade of cameras to provide maximum coverage, replacement of monitors and an organized central monitoring station at the front desk and reception area. Contractor shall provide the additional rack components necessary to mount the additional monitors to provide a complete, stable and secure rack system for the central monitoring station. Completion of Phase I shall be accomplished no later than 30 May 98. PHASE II: Provide and install cameras and monitors to obtain maximum coverage of the remaining areas (1) rooms within Bldg 1625 which currently do not house children and (2) all outdoor play areas. At the completion of Phase II the CCTV system shall be fully integrated into the central monitoring station. Completion of Phase II shall be accomplished no later than 15 Jul 98. DELETE from paragraph (vii) the latter part of the sentence which reads "no later than 15 days after date of award" There is no change to the bid opening date and time.
