A -- SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION TO CONSOLIDATE RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE POC Contracting Officer: Jonathan Stanton (719) 567-9367 BMDO plans to issue a sole source modification to contract F05604-95-9001 that will consolidate Research and Development and mission critical Operations and Maintenance tasks into a single integration contract. This modification will increase the level of effort in the current contract by 350 man years. The mission critical tasks that will be included as part of the integration function include all computer and facility support of our modeling and simulation and wargaming efforts. The proposed additional man years are required so that the JNTF can support BMDO's pursuit of critical missile defense milestones as required to support the American Missile Protection Act of 1998, signed 27 March 1998. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Written responses shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement.
